Lake Sunapee Region Events - August - September 2022

The peak of summer in the Sunapee Region brings two iconic events that people travel from all over to attend. New London Hospital Days, and the Craftsmen’s Fair held at Mount Sunapee Resort. If your summer plans allow, mark your calendar and attend one or both of these fun-filled events.


Hospital Days
August 4 – 7

This community favorite, is BACK! Four days packed with family fun, entertainment, carnival rides, a parade, live music and so much more. Brand new this year is the Stars Above: An All-American Circus. View the schedule of events here.


Annual Craftsmen’s Fair
August 6 - 14
Hosted by the League of N.H. Craftsmen, this iconic arts event brings together an impressive display of handcrafted items, fine art and demonstrations. Tickets available for purchase online or at the gate.


Hospital Days Triathlon
Sunday, August 7
Swim, bike and run in this fun fast race around scenic Little Lake Sunapee. For more info and to register online, visit the race website.

 

Summer Concert with Grace Crummer & Billy Rosen
Sunday, August 21, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

Pack a picnic and enjoy live music at The Fells. Grace Marie Crummer, Billy Rosen, Tim Gilmore and John Hunter will perform a diverse variety of Jazz Standards, Blues, Ballads, Latin and Bossa Nova. For more information, visit TheFells.org.


Live Music at the Livery
Every Friday night see a different musician perform live at this cool venue in Sunapee Harbor. The August line-up includes: Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki, Mink Hills Band, Green Heron, Dan Moretti & the Josa Ensemble. Tickets available online at: TheLivery.org.


Wilmotpalooza
Sunday, September 12

A day packed with fun-filled activities for kids, live music by Nick’s Other Band, karate demonstrations, reptile exhibit and more! Funds raised help to support the Wilmot Community Association.


Autumn Vibes
September 16, 5:00 – 7:30 PM
Enjoy live music by Nick’s Other Band at one of the most beautiful venues in the Sunapee Region—Muster Field Farm. Food available from Monster’s Tacos, Lets Get Loaded and Auntie Nae’s Tiki Treats. Hosted by the Sunapee Region Board of Realtors and Business Partners, this event helps to raise money to support local community organizations. New London Barn Playhouse
