March in the North Country has come to a close, and in this blog post we are going to review the monthly sales stats.
The month added 26 sales to the bring the YTD total to 70. Similar to the Sunapee Region the seasonality of real estate should be coming out of hibernation soon and we look forward to more properties hitting the market in the months to come.
The median price has ticked up slightly from $331,500 last month to $405,950. While this is a big jump, it might be exaggerated due to the relatively lower number of sales. However, the biggest change has been the median days on market went from 20 in February to 31 in March. While single family homes are still moving quickly this is extra breathing space for buyers which hasn’t always been the case in this past year.
