Fall Happenings in 2021

From outdoor events to apple picking and farm stand visits. The Lake Sunapee Region has just as much to offer in the Autumn as it does during the summer months. We’ll continue updating the event list below so check back often! September 17

Autumn Vibes
Muster Field Farm, Sutton
5:30 – 7:30 pm

Live music by Nick’s Other Band, games and great food for purchase from Monster’s Tacos!! Bring a picnic blanket or your pop-up tent and enjoy an evening of fun and good company. Hosted by the Sunapee Region Board of Realtors and their Business Partners, this event raises funds for local charities. $10 per ticket, $30 for four people. Tickets do sell out, call (603) 454-7019

September 18

Capital Well Sunapee Triathlon
Mount Sunapee State Park, Newbury
6:30 am Packet Pick-up  |  8:30 am Race Start

Millennium Running and Sunapee State Park host the 2nd Annual Capital Well Sunapee Triathlon! Swim, bike and run with a team or as an individual. This USTA sanctioned event takes place at beautiful Lake Sunapee. Visit their website for all the details.

Real Ghost Stories with Adam Berry
Newport Opera House
7:00 pm

An evening of REAL ghost stories with Adam Berry the host and executive producer of Discovery+ and The Travel Channel’s smash hit program Kindred Spirits! Tickets are $35.

11:30 am 5k Start, Brewfest Gates open at 1:00 pm

Hosted by the Claremont Kiwanis Club, enjoy craft beer, great food, music and a fun 5k road race!

October 4 - 19

Sunapee Pumpkin People
Sunapee, NH

Welcome the Pumpkin People to Sunapee! This fun event is open to all residents, businesses and organizations. Prizes for the best entries--the contest kicks off on October 8.

5th Annual Duck Drop
Mount Sunapee Resort
10:00 am - 3:00 pm

What can be more fun than tossing rubber duckies off a chair lift to win great prizes, all while taking in the beautiful fall foliage! Enjoy Live music, good food and great company. This super fun event is hosted by North Cape Design to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Central New Hampshire.


October 10

Ragged Mountain’s Harvest Party
Ragged Mountain, Danbury
12:00 - 4:00 pm
Start gearing up for the 2021-22 winter season at Ragged’s annual Harvest Party. Enjoy live music, delicious food from a variety of food trucks, and shop the ski and snowboard tent sale. Season Pass holders can get their RFID cards automatically reloaded for the season.


October 29 - 31

Halloween Weekend at the Anchorage
