Sunapee Region Sales, June 2021 

As June has concluded we take a look again at home sales within the Sunapee region. The good news is, there were 68 sales in the area making it the highest number of transactions so far in 2021. While sales have generally remained lower than 2020, the trajectory is largely the same. As we move through the summer, we usually see a peak of sales in July or August, and in the coming months we will follow this to see if it holds true in 2021. 

 

Consistent with year-to-date trends, the cumulative median sales price is still high resulting at $340,000 in the Sunapee region. Compared with the same time last year, median sales are up about 21%. As we noted in our previous update, NHAR reported a statewide 25.7% increase in median sales price since May 2020. This places the Sunapee region consistent with statewide trends, yet more affordable than the statewide median sales price of $402,000.
