The Lake Sunapee Region is well known as a beautiful summer and fall destination, but one of our favorites times of the year is late November, more specifically Thanksgiving time!! We know, all the leaves have fallen, the days are long and dark, and the temperature makes you bundle up. But…there is something so special about this time of year, from visiting local farm stands and grabbing ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner, to picking up homemade maple syrup and swinging by the local flower shop to decorate the table.

Brighten up The Table
We already acknowledged that the colors of Fall have faded, but we know where you can find plenty of vibrant color to decorate your home. Whenever we want to cheer up, we head over the Allioops in New London. Have a table centerpiece professional designed or browse through their lovely flower collection and make your own! Lake Sunapee Turkey Trot
This is our favorite ways to work up our appetites for all the delicious food we will enjoy later in the day! This is a super fun 5k road race that starts and ends in the beautiful Lake Sunapee Harbor. NOTE: there have been added protocols to the race in an effort to ensure participant safety.
