Pick-Your-Own (PYO) – July Edition

If you missed out on the strawberry picking season, don’t fret! The month of July brings some great options for picking both berries and flowers! If you’re traveling through the Sunapee Region this month, or are looking for a way to enjoy the outdoors with a classic New England summer activity, check out the great local PYO fields below.

Bartlett’s Blueberry Farm
Opening Day is July 15! With more than 4,000 mature blueberry bushes, you’ll fill up a bucket in no time. Berries are sold by the pound and they have provided some great info online regarding health and safety measures they have put in place.

Beaver Pond Farm
Offering pick-your-own raspberries and blueberries! Make sure to call or check their website as the PYO fields are weather and picking condition dependent. They also have a fantastic retail location offering tons of delicious local and regional products located at Route 11 & 103 John Stark Highway in Newport.

Spring Ledge Farm
Spring Ledge Farm grows a beautiful cut flower garden with rows of brightly colored flowers to choose from. They also have a nice vase swap station making it fun to stop in multiple times during the summer months for PYO cut flowers.
