Real Estate Update and Fall Things To Do

Is it still a sellers market? How long until the housing market shifts? Am I running out of time to sell my home and earn the best possible value? Should I wait for the market to change before buying? As the summer fades to an end and we start to enter the fall and winter seasons, these are the types of questions we are asked from our clients, customers, friends and family.

In addition to our monthly home sales stats that we normally report on, this month I also want to share some of the key economic predictions from the New England Realtor Committee conference and how they compare to what we are seeing locally. We also sought financing insight from Mascoma Bank SVP Mortgage Sales Manager, Cathy Murray. Click the link below to check out our blog and learn more about our Local Real Estate Market and our thoughts on where it's headed.

          So Long Summer!
It breaks our hearts to bid beach days goodbye after such a wonderful and successful summerseason but, we are equally as excited for what opportunitiesthe cooler months have in store for us.
The O'Halloran Group is participating in this years NHDuckDrop at Mount SunapeeA fundraiser hosted by Northcape Design and Mount Sunapee Resort to support the Boys and Girls Club of Central NH. The event begins atnoononOctober 7th and is open to anyone looking to have a good time.
Its going to be an awesome fall day at the mountain filled with old-fashioned games, pumpkin carving, hayrides, aerial chairlift rides, a beer patioand of coursespectacular BBQ food. The part thats unique to us as a sponsor, is that the OHalloran Group will be creating a huge duckdrop target on the ski slopes. Participants will have the chance to ride the lift, find our target, and send their rubber duckies free failing in hopes of winning some seriously cool prizes (the closestduckto the target is the winner)! There will be prizes from local well-known vendors and even a chance to take home one million dollars, or various trips such as a Costa Rica spa getaway or Caribbean cruise!
All in all, it will be fun, festive day of friends, good food and some friendly competition. For additional information please visithttp://nhduckdrop.com/
