Bradford, New Hampshire is a quaint community 1,650 located in Merrimack County.   The villages of Bradford Center and Melvin Mills also fall within the borders of Bradford.

The town, which was originally called Bradfordton, was incorporated in 1787 by the General Court.  Today, the 36 square mile New Hampshire town covers a variety of terrains, including hills and valleys.

Bradford is rich in history, as evident by the number of historical sites within its borders, including:
