Pleasant Lake is a gorgeous 606 acre lake located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
This New Hampshire lake shares borders with the town of New London as well as the village of Elkins.
Water from this lake travels to the Blackwater River, which ultimately runs to the Merrimack River.
Pleasant Lake is also known for its lone island, which is referred to as Granite Friends Island on older maps. Today, the island is better known as Blueberry Island and is popular among residents for being a picnicking destination.
